But You Don't Travel?

First, let me say fuck you (for rubbing it in). Not to sound like too much of an old man, but I did. For 2 years I spent every damn weekend on a train or a plane to a new and exciting part of the world. Me, my backpack, and my Canadian flag. it was awesome. but it cost a metric fuck ton of money, and the time came to get a 'real' job and start paying the bank back. so i stopped travelling. I stopped exploring like i used to. but most important I kinda sorta stopped spending money i just didn't have. The highlights if I had to list them, where Rajasthan, India, and Barcelona, Spain.

Rajasthan, India

Rajasthan is the desert province bordering Pakistan in the north west corner. It is stunning. the most incredible place I have ever been in my life. I flew into Jaipur which was a lot like any other Indian city, but still very neat because it is very much in the desert. I then started my train tour of the desert, I headed to Udaipurwati home of the lake palace (where they filmed octopussy, yes I am James Bond). then Jaisalmer where we toured around through the 55C desert on camels and land rovers, and then to Jaipur and home. it was unreal. if I get around to it I'll toss up some pictures one of these days...

Barcelona, Spain

All I can say is Antoni Gaudíand if you don't know who I;m talking about then you need to get your shit together! This guy has built some of the most incredibly beautiful things the world has ever known. and you should go. and you should stay for as long as you can and just eat, drink, and walk around with your jaw on the floor.
