Results Of Our First Deadline

So, our first demo day has come and passed - and.... drum roll... My partners missed the call. yeah! haha. It was ok though, we decided to mark the date as passed and set a new deadline earlier in the week. this deadline was to implement some very basic web canvas functionality with back-end support - the intention being to figure out how the hell to glue all this shit together and we mostly accomplished that goal. any more work would have been busy work to meet a date and then tossed. but all in things are going well. I cant really go into specifics, but to sum up or accomplishments so far:

• Draw a canvas
• Add widgets to the canvas
• Move the widgits around the canvas
• Structure of a backend widgit library
• Prototype key value database abstraction
• Assemble a library of widgits

Our next deadline (not firm yet) is 2 weeks away and will involve almost all of the same objectives just inside of a real framework, with the communication bits between the server and client, and a set of build/test tools. I'm just excited at the progress we have made and ever inch closer we get to that beautiful little coding mecca where its really, really easy to write a line of code (we are close - maybe another week).
